A dialogue with Judy Goggin, Vice-President at Encore, a national nonprofit organization building a movement to make it easier for millions of people to pursue second acts for the greater good. Encore calls these performances “encore careers” – jobs that combine personal meaning, continued income and social impact – in the second half of life. Judy leads Encore’s College Initiative, a program that encourages the nation’s colleges to create innovative pathways toward encore careers in health care, education, social services and the environment.
