Mukti Bosco is cofounder of Healing Fields Foundation. She graduated in Occupational Therapy from Christian Medical College & Hospital, Vellore. She has led the Women’s Initiative at the Dean’s Office at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
Mukti has presented papers at many national and international seminars and conferences including the Clinton Global Initiative. Mukti is an Ashoka Fellow and was named the Woman Social Entrepreneur of the year 2009 by MSDS. Besides speaking at the Annual Mayo Clinic’s Transform Conference, she was also a panelist at the World Economic Forum in New Delhi.
Co-founded in 2000 by Bosco, HFF mission is to make quality healthcare affordable and accessible to all people in India, especially the poor, underprivileged and marginalized populations. HFF’s project portfolio includes Healing Fields Health, feminine product distribution, Nutrition Interventions, Water/Sanitation projects, as well as developing health financing programs.
